On the ski-slopes, trails marked with a blue square are designated for people with the skill and confidence to move beyond the gentle slopes marked with a green circle, but who do not have the chutzpah or expertise to sail down a slope marked with a black diamond. By analogy, when traveling, a blue square adventure involves more risk than a trip to a local museum. The swashbuckling spirit, however, is kept in check with a healthy dose of timidity. I use this site to share my blue square adventures and other select facets of my blue square lifestyle.
